SKSA Youth Baseball

Welcome to the Home of Spring-Klein Youth Baseball

Thank you for visiting the Spring-Klein Baseball website. Our goal is to provide a healthy environment for the youth of our community to learn and enjoy the great game of baseball and to advance their baseball skills while teaching them key values like honesty, integrity, and respect.

This can be accomplished when our parents, coaches, and league officials work closely together to teach fundamental baseball skills as well as leading by example, practicing good sportsmanship, and being respectful of the competition.

Baseball Programs Overview

SKSA offers various baseball programs designed to provide levels of play to accommodate all players regardless of their skill level.  Currently this includes Metro, Select, Elite, Premier, Seniors, SuperStars and Summer League baseball programs. The following table depicts the focus of these programs:

Program

Age Groups

Description

Metro

5-14

Metro baseball is focused on recreational play. It progresses from t-ball for our 5 & 6 year olds, to coach pitch for 7-8, and then kid pitch from 9 onwards. Each age group plays in their own division, with exception of 13 & 14 year olds who play in a combined format.

Select/Elite/Premier

7-14

The Select, Elite, and Premier Baseball programs accommodate pre-formed teams with players that are prepared for a more competitive level of play. These programs are for the serious ball player with the skills and commitment to play the game at a higher level. Each age group plays in their own division.

Seniors

15-18

The Spring-Klein Seniors Baseball program accommodates high school age group players who are interested in advancing their baseball skills and those who have the goal of playing for their high school team. There is a single division for all age groups.

SuperStars

Open

The Spring-Klein SuperStars Baseball Program is for our baseball players with special physical, emotional, or mental challenges.  This program is open to players of all ages in a single division.

Summer League

5-14

The summer league provides a baseball program for players to continue to play over the summer between the normal SKSA fall and spring sessions.  The main goal of the program is to keep kids physically active during the summer months and have some fun making new friends and playing some baseball.

Full details on the Metro, Select, Elite and Premier classifications are available on the Baseball Program Information Page.
